Bug sightings no more a bad omen

Men In Black. Agent K and Agent J at alien landing sight. Mud test turns red. It's a bug. And we don't like bugs. Sounds like 1997. Well that was then.

Now we love bugs, we love 'em so much that we pay you to report one. The Mozilla foundation project have announced rewards to the tune of $500 to those reporting serious security vulnerabilities in the much loved Open Source project.

This reward is like those in old cowboy movies movies -- 'You folks 'ere catch one thief in 4 days and by heavens aye'd name you Sheriff'. No this is so that the community can further contribute to the success of Mozilla. This by no means is a way to boast that Mozilla is perfect to the T. We all know that.

Thanks to linspire for the funding and also to Mark Shuttleworth, who says that he was inspired by the Foundations commitment and responsiveness on security issues.

Keep this up and we too will have no bugs. But these are the bugs we don't mind making extinct.
