Minix From Scratch?
Well there's a thought. This story on /. suggests that the MFS project aims to be to the Minix community what LFS is to the Linux community, a recipe for building an alternative OS from scratch.
Best wishes.
If only they can find enough contributors. I see that they have set up a wiki, forums and mailing lists, the essential trio for any project. They've got close to fifty members on their forum, which they have set up on phpbb. Most of the users are newbies and would just like to read, like so many things that they read, not knowing which would benefit them. Only a select bunch of users seem to know what they are getting at and want to pitch in. I say so because the wiki still has many pages empty. The select few experienced users need to contribute more.
I wish them luck and prey that more users come forward and contribute.
