I can still distinctly remember my first Linux distribution, Slackware 96. What an experience that was. The long sleepless nights, the joy of discovering/understanding freedom, the simplicity of it all was exuberating.

Which means it offers the latest from both, GNOME and KDE, the biggest players in the market.
